How are we (Christ-followers) supposed to live in a post-Christian culture? How do we balance being people of conviction AND people of compassion? How do we stand up for truth AND extend grace? That was the Old Testament prophet Daniel’s “dilemma”. In spite of the fact that Daniel was a minority living in a hostile culture, he prospered. He thrived without hiding or comprimising. He outlasted 3 emperors, received 6 big promotions, and worked his way up to become the 2nd most influential man in the entire empire. Dan was “the man”, and we have much to learn from his life.
