CR Kids exists to come alongside parents/guardians to provide an opportunity for kids to know Jesus and learn about Him in a fun, safe and engaging environment.
We offer a safe and loving place for your littlest ones to play together and sing songs about Jesus.
We love creating a fun and engaging environment for our learning and growing Preschoolers. We have playtime, an interacting Bible story time, age appropriate worship, and an application/craft time in a small group setting.
For our Elementary kids we offer hang-out time at the beginning, an interactive Bible story, games, and a small group discussion and application time, kids are immersed in a fun Jesus-focused atmosphere.
Kids of all ages are welcome in the worship center. We will also be continuing online CR Kids services during COVID and beyond so we can reach more kids for Jesus. Below is summary of actions being taken to reduce the COVID-19 risk as much as possible as we begin our first phase of regathering in CR Kids:
Precautions and preparations in CR Kids: Having a safe, clean, and fun environment has always been our top priority. We’re intensifying our cleaning and disinfection protocols. We’re adjusting spaces, activities, and protocols to reduce the spread of COVID. We’ve created CR Kids weekly programming and Vacation Bible School to be available online. All gatherings at Crossroads Church will adhere to CDC and MN Dept. of Health requirements as outlined in Crossroad’s COVID-19 Preparedness Plan. |
Facemask and temperature guidance:
CR Kids Volunteers and staff will be temperature checked and asked to wear mask in accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order on masks. Children ages 5 and under are exempt from the state mask requirements, and will not be asked to wear one in CR kids. · The CDC guidance regarding individuals who should not wear a face mask states face coverings should not be placed on young children under age 2; anyone who has trouble breathing, or is unconscious, incapacitated; or anyone who is otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance. · All other attendees are required to bring and wear personal masks. |
Upon arrival to CR Kids: · Individuals not residing in the same household should refrain from handshakes, hugs, or other forms of contact when feasible. (Smiles, waves, and air high fives are encouraged 🙂 ) · We’ll pre-print your child and parent pick up tags which can be picked up near the entrance to your kid’s spaces. · Only one parent or guardian can enter the CR Kids spaces for child drop-off & pick-up. · Hand sanitizer or sanitizer stations will be readily available and accessible. · Please follow any signage/instruction aimed to control the flow traffic within our spaces and help to promote distancing. |
CR Kids service adaptations: · The number of items that are shared or touched between kids and our team will be limited. · We will be changing out toys in rooms between services. · There will be additional promotion of healthy hygiene practices. · We will encourage social distancing and the use of small groups when possible. · Printed materials will be available electronically in lieu of handouts. |

The Bible tell us that ‘children are a blessing and a gift from God’ (Psalm 127:3). At Crossroads, we offer a ceremony to thank God for this blessing and make promises to Him to lead our children into a relationship with Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We call this ceremony a Parent Child Dedication. We offer dedications several times a year.
The next Dedication Service is TBD. Registration will be on our Events Page.
Families with children of any age that are asking questions about baptism, or have expressed interest in being baptized, can attend a workshop to understand our beliefs in baptism.
The next Baptism is TBD. Registration will be on our Events Page.
